What is a Nuclia token?
A Nuclia token is the value we use in Nuclia to establish equivalences between the costs of different Language Models available on our platform.
Nuclia integrates with an ever-growing list of top production-ready LLMs. These language models have very different price structures. To simplify understanding of the pricing, we use Nuclia Tokens as a standard.
Can you provide me an example of how to work with Nuclia tokens?
Sure. A Nuclia token is valued at $0.007. A generative answer from ChatGPT 3.5 is equivalent to 0.91 Nuclia Tokens. This means that a generative answer using ChatGPT costs $0.0064 (calculated as 0.007 x 0.91).
How many tokens are used in a search/generative answer?
This depends on several factors:
The number of contexts the LLM accepts.
The number of contexts it retrieves from the search results before sending them to the LLM.
On average, our generative answers consume between 1 and 5 Nuclia tokens (including input and output).
